From Amsterdam airport to the city centre

A direct railway line connects Schiphol International Airport with Amsterdam Central Station, and is the fastest and most convenient form of transport to the city centre. The ride takes 15 minutes and the trains depart day and night every day. From 6am to 1am, a train departs every 15 minutes. From 1am to 6am the train departs once per hour on the 00 minute.

We recommend buying an online train ticket so you can avoid complications and get on the train immediately.

From Amsterdam Central Station to Ede

  • Option 1: Take the NS Intercity to Nijmegen (leaves every 30 minutes), get off at Ede-Wageningen

  • Option 2: Take the NS Intercity to Maastricht, get off at Utrecht Centraal, take the NS Intercity to Arnhem Centraal, get off at Ede-Wageningen

Akoesticum is only a 5-minute walk away from the Ede-Wageningen train station. You can follow the shortcut attached to platform 1(Spoor 1). Follow the P+R sign over the viaduct. The first building you see is the former Frisokazerne where Akoesticum is located. You can recognise us by the Red, White and Blue flags.

PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED for travel to the Netherlands. Please make your arrangements early to avoid last-minute problems. Visas are not required for U.S. citizens. Residents of non-U.S. countries should check with their own state departments for Visa requirements. ALSO - PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PASSPORT IS VALID FOR AT LEAST 30 DAYS AFTER TRAVEL!!! If not, you may not be allowed to board your flight and will have to order an express passport, etc.
